Current mood: exhausted from lifting boxes

water, water, everywhere
Ahhh I tell you, there's nothing quite like waking up at 1AM the night before an exam to find that the basement has flooded and all your precious things are destroyed.

Lovely.

Note to self: storing things in cardboard boxes = bad idea.

Goddamn sump pump.

Omg. Is anything REALLY badly destroyed? I'd hate that. >< Hope everything's a little better now.

I'm still in the evaluation phase. My dad and I moved everything from the basement to the garage so that they could dry....I still need to check up on them, though I'm not too hopeful. My anime dvds were down there! T_T I hope their plastic cases kept them safe. Not to mention a lot of my personal photos were down there.....*sigh*

nothing horribly valuable, fortunately. Mostly stuff with sentimental value - like a collection of books I've had since I was a kid....I was ringing those out like a sponge ^_^;;; You know those will never be the same.
